Cloos Life Guide - Conquering Coachella
It has been three years too long since everyone has danced in the desert heat, tasted the culinary lineup, and been inspired by the immersive design and art installations. All has changed this year and the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is back for good and on its second and final weekend. Check out our 5 guiding principles to keep in mind.
1. Eat Through the Culinary Lineup
You cannot have a festival without food - and when talking about lineup, we are not only talking about music. Promise that you are will not go home hungry or thirsty. Coachella's food program features top restaurants from across the country offering a wide variety of cuisine that pleases any festival-goer.
Everything from meat, vegan and dessert options, ranging from oily, heart-attack inducing festival must-haves like fast food, ramen, tacos and ice-cream; to healthy options for the body-conscious, namely cleansing juices, poke bowls, antioxidant-rich acai bowls and more. Additionally, you will also find signature specialty cocktail programs and large Craft Beer selections.
For the seventh year, Outstanding In The Field is setting a long table in the tranquil hideaway of our VIP Rose Garden. The intimate area allows you to take refuge at the festival while you mingle with other guests over a full-service, four-course family style meal, a cocktail and ample regional wine. Dinner will be served just as the sun starts to hang low.
2. Be Inspired by Immersive Art
Coachella is widely known for its design and art installations. The 2022 program will offer newly-commissioned, immersive art and design installations and returning favorites that will make the Polo Field come alive, counting both international and local multidisciplinary designers and visual artists: Architensions (Alessandro Orsini and Nick Roseboro), Cristopher Cichocki, Kiki Van Eijk, Estudio Normal, Oana Stanescu, and Los Dos. 3. Turn In on the Tunes
While Coachella may be much more than just music, this year's lineup is really worth noticing. The event features musical artists from many genres of music, including rock, pop, indie, hip hop and electronic dance music. Additionally, Coachella is famous for providing surprises counting both unannounced guest appearances and reunions. We have seen the music festival bring together reunions like Destiny’s Child, LCD Soundsystem, N.W.A., OutKast, At the Drive In, Pulp, Death From Above 1979, The Stone Roses and Guns ‘N Roses.

4. Ride Along the Coachella Vibe
The carefree energy from the people will make you feel at ease despite the overwhelming number of people. On top of the great weather, it is a very positive place to be with friendly festival goers, staff members and even the security. April is when it starts to warm up in North America, which makes it perfect to spend a weekend away in the desert with friends, dressed in your best outfits to dance and sing along to your favourite acts.
