In this journal we have gathered for you our top pick of surf destinations around the globe, where we can see ourselves relaxing in the sun with a pair of St. Barths or Passable after hours of surfing. 



Oahu, Hawaii, USA


Considered as the best place to go surfing in the United States, Oahu is a popular surfing destination and ranks at the top of every seasoned professional’s list of great surfing spots. The island, which is in fact where surfing was originally created, is especially famous for the “Pipeline” – the ultimate surfing wave.



Known as “The Queen of waves”, Pipeline is probably the most challenging of all, attracting experienced surfers from all over the world. The waves grow in size over six meters of a shallow base of razor-blade table reef. Oahu waters offers waves for all levels, though, and is also known for its breathtaking beaches, laid-back surf towns and wild nightlife.

Biarritz, France


Located in the Bay of Biscay, Biarritz sits on the Atlantic coast and offers incredible opportunities for surfing. The city is a luxurious seaside tourist destination in the French Basque Country in southwestern France, famous for its dreamy beaches and classical French gourmet cuisine, making it an ideal location for a surfing holiday.



The city is the undisputed epicenter of surfing in France, but attracts surfers from all around the world. Offering constant and varied waves, the area is suitable for surfers of all abilities.

For decades now, Biarritz has become a place where some of the biggest international-surfing competitions take place and where surfing enthusiasts can cross path with legendary surfers. In fact, Biarritz recently hosted the 2017 International Surfing Association (ISA) World Surfing Games.



Bali, Indonesia


Besides being one of the most popular island holiday destinations, Bali is a true surfer’s paradise, with some of the best waves in the world. Surfers from all over the globe go to its magnificent stretch of coast hoping to get a taste of its remarkable perfection.



Bali's surfer crowd comprises experienced riders and beginners who want a piece of the action. Pros can head to the outer reef breaks of the southern Bukit Peninsula, while newbies can opt for smaller waves in the lagoons. Bali is a great place to pick up the sport, with board rentals and surf schools widely available.

Ericeira, Portugal


Located 40 km north of Lisbon, Ericeira is a delightful traditional village that sees the old Portuguese way of life mixing with the new modern surfing culture. The old town is set on cliffs and full of bustling cafés, shops, restaurants and bars.



The area has 12 different surf beaches all within 8kms, each suiting different standards, from the stunning beginners beach Foz do Lizandro to the epic fast barrelling world class Coxos. Such high class waves attract crowds and with Lisbon only a short drive away there are no shortages of surfers wanting a piece of the Ericeira action.

Malibu, California, USA


Malibu and the surrounding area is well known for its gorgeous beaches and the simple fact that is it one of the best surf locations that a town can have to offer. The unspoiled stretch of coastline makes for a Hollywood-esque break with plenty of surf spots like Zuma Beach and Surfrider beach for those who prefer longboarding. 



With plenty of seafood heavy restaurants and romantic seaside hotels, you can be sure of a relaxed break in this stunning location. Malibu Point, packed with surfers, is an iconic surfing destination.
